Air Exim (IATA: E6, ICAO: AXE, Callsign: EXIM) was a short-lived leisure airline based in Brno, Czech Republic, established in 1999 as a subsidiary of the Czech tour operator Exim Tours. The airline was created to serve the growing demand for charter flights from Central Europe to popular holiday destinations.
History
Air Exim was founded in late 1999 by Exim Tours, one of the largest travel agencies in the Czech Republic at the time. The airline aimed to offer packaged holiday flights from Brno–Turany Airport (BRQ) to Mediterranean and North African destinations.
Air Exim commenced operations in May 2000, beginning with seasonal charter flights to resorts in Spain, Greece, Turkey, and Tunisia. The airline was envisioned as a cost-effective and convenient solution for Czech holidaymakers, particularly families and group travelers booking through Exim Tours.
Despite initial optimism and solid demand, Air Exim faced challenges related to rising fuel prices, intense competition from other charter carriers, and limited fleet expansion capacity. Operations ceased in 2002, and its routes were gradually absorbed by other charter partners of Exim Tours.
Fleet
At its peak, Air Exim operated a small fleet including:
* 2 × Boeing 737-400
* 1 x Boeing 737-500 (leased)
All aircraft were configured in an all-economy layout, optimized for short to medium-haul leisure travel.
Destinations
During its operation, Air Exim flew to a variety of popular charter destinations:
* Spain: Palma de Mallorca, Malaga
* Greece: Heraklion, Rhodes
* Turkey: Antalya
* Tunisia: Monastir
* Egypt: Hurghada (added in 2001)

Branding
The airline's branding was closely inspired by Exim Tours' bright and family-friendly image. Its livery featured a vibrant magenta and yellow color scheme, with a stylized sunburst and airplane logo that echoed the original Exim Tours aesthetic.
Legacy
Though short-lived, Air Exim played a key role in expanding Exim Tours’ footprint in the Czech travel market and helped shape the company’s approach to vertically integrated travel services. Its closure led Exim to rely more on strategic partnerships with established charter airlines across Europe.
